“I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEBBE
I bless South Africa and its people with honour and respect for their national and local leaders, even if they do not agree with them. I bless the people and the leaders with godly love to move them to petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for their neighbours and leaders. I bless the leaders and all who are in high places with our words and actions, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. I pray that Holy Spirit will infiltrate their houses, their hearts, their minds and every where they go, and bring new life to South Africa. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. In Jesus’s Name, amen.
